Development of wisdom and construction of forest relationship in preschool education on forests

This project investigates whether forest can serve as a learning environment where preschool-aged children learn wisdom. At the same time, we examine what meanings the pre-schoolers, their teachers and multiprofessional practitioners as well as parents associate with forest. Children’s wisdom is a scarcely researched topic, like also the development of children’s forest relationship. The project is funded by Metsämiesten Säätiö Foundation.
