Work

I study agency on the StudyAgent project funded by the Academy of Finland, and I will write my dissertation in the project. As a research group, we develop the AUS scale to measure student agency, and we investigate the dimensions of agency empirically in the context of higher education. Aim is to support those with lower agency, so that everyone would have a possibility to learn and to be well.

Expertice

Statistics, data analytics, psychometrics, pedagogical experiments, inequality. I have been involved in research related to well-being, mobility, health and inequalities. At the moment my research concentrates on student agency and possibilities to support agency.
