The Institute board’s role is to develop and evaluate the operations of the Institute. The board, among other duties, verifies the Institute’s operational and financial plans as well as overseeing the research, publishing, and personnel strategies. The membership of the board includes representatives from national educational agencies, education field, departments within the University of Jyväskylä, and staff of the Institute.
