Their tasks include participation in research planning and data collection activities, quantitative analyses of research data, and contributing to reporting the results. The team members are involved in many international assessment studies (PISA, PIAAC, TIMSS, PIRLS, ICCS, TALIS, and Nord-Vet), and also in various projects drawing on the data sets collected in these international studies (ELINET, ELGPN and SkillsREAL) as well as in projects making use of national data sets (such as Prep21 and Innokomppi). The team provides expert assistance in statistical methods also for individual FIER researchers’ theses or dissertations and other studies.
