Collaborative Development Network

The collaborative development network (CDN) is a cross-cutting group based at FIER focused on the tension between established and emergent topics in which members have established track records and scholarly agendas. Our practice maps on to and manifests as direct engagement of significant organizational challenges within our own institute, university, communities of practice, and the most important societally based organizations and actors with whom collaboration holds potential. Our recent and current studies, projects and development work focuses on topics that cut across FIER’s Academic Work team; our Internationalization, Intersectionality Mobility Migration team; and Higher Education Studies teams. The defining feature of our activity is the application, development and uptake of research results in ways that constructively impact organizational practice(s), using what is known – and can be known – about collaborative leadership, scholarly practices, and impact in wider society.
