My name is Päivi Vuorinen-Lampila. I have worked at Finnish Institute for Educational Research almost 30 years. Most of my research have concered higher education: student enrollment and the choice between vocational higher education (universities of applied sciences) and universities, study progress and drop-out in vocational higher education, study careers and paths at universities and the employment of higher education graduates (both higher education sectors). My PhD-thesis (educational science) concers the employment outcomes of higher education graduates. The public defence of thesis will be in September 2018. At master's level my educational background is in fields of history and social science. I have also subject teacher qualification.
