NQT-COME organised a symposium in European Conference on Educational Research ECER 2011 in Berlin, Germany, promoting discussions on research on teacher induction within the theoretical framework of practice architectures. The symposium was contributed by Professor Stephen Kemmis from Charles Sturt Univesity, Australia who is globally known as an advocate of educational action research and has lately been working with the theory of practice architectures. The discussants of the symposium were Professor Karin Rönnerman (University of Gothenburg, Sweden) and Dr. Karolina Duschinska (Head of the Centre for Teaching Practice, Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic). |
