ECER 2010, Helsinki, Finland

NQT-COME had a presentation in European Conference on Educational Research ECER2010 in Helsinki entitiled "Mentoring Formally or Informally? Dilemmas and Paradoxes of Mentoring and Education for Mentors".
 
 

NERA 2011 Jyväskylä, Finland

NQT-COME organised a symposium in the annual conference of Nordic Educational Research Association NERA 2011 in Jyväskylä, Finland. In the symposium, based on the work in progress by NQT-COME, some preliminary results of the comparative work were reflected and discussed. The discussant of the symposium was Professor Jan Folkert Deinum who is the coordinator of the European INNOTE project (Induction of Novice Teachers).
 

ECER2011, Berlin, Germany

NQT-COME organised a symposium in European Conference on Educational Research ECER 2011 in Berlin, Germany, promoting discussions on research on teacher induction within the theoretical framework of practice architectures. The symposium was contributed by Professor Stephen Kemmis from Charles Sturt Univesity, Australia who is globally known as an advocate of educational action research and has lately been working with the theory of practice architectures. The discussants of the symposium were Professor Karin Rönnerman (University of Gothenburg, Sweden) and Dr. Karolina Duschinska (Head of the Centre for Teaching Practice, Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic).
