Social Programme

Get together Evening: Cruise and City Reception
Wednesday, 3 June, at 6 pm

All participants are welcome to join the evening programme, which begins with a scenic boat cruise through a labyrinth of islands along the Lake Päijänne to Juurikkasaari Dance Pavilion. In Juurikkasaari you will enjoy relaxed atmosphere with your colleagues on shore of the lake. A snack with refreshments will be served, and you may will even be offered Finnish dance music. The evening is hosted by the city of Jyväskylä. Bus transportation will be arranged back to the conference hotels. The programme is included in the conference fee. Advance registration is necessary, since there are limited seats on the boats.

Gala Dinner
Thursday, 4 June, at 8 pm

The Gala Dinner will take place in Restaurant Priimus ca. 4 km from the city centre and most of the hotels. The restaurant has a beautiful scenic location on one of the lakes of the city area. Finnish delicacies and music are provided and you will have a chance to socialize with your colleagues. Bus transportation will be provided from the conference hotels to the Dinner site. Towards midnight there will be transportation back to the hotels. Transportation schedule will be given in the conference material. Advance registration is, however, necessary to have a table reservation.
