The research group concentrates on competence and employment for immigrants and their children’s language proficiency, as well as on European comparisons. The activities of the group also include supervision of graduate students, contribution to the international MA-programme ’UNIP Network on Innovation and Professional Development for Vocational Teachers and Trainers’ coordinated by UNESCO-Unevoc and University of Bremen, carrying out a training programme to improve experts’ intercultural competencies, and funding of research projects. The research group has comprehensive international network.
